Little Brown Bat

While walking the trail I came across a very interesting creature. A bat! I am assuming this is a Little Brown Bat as this is a very common bat in the State of Massachusetts.
I was very surprised since it was during daylight hours. Of course not knowing much about bats, a quick internet check says it is not that unusual for bats to be active in the daylight hours despite being a nocturnal animal.
These bats are having it rough in recent years with colonies being devastated with White-nose syndrome, a fungal disease killing bats throughout North America.
