The herring are starting to make their river runs to the ponds to spawn and the osprey are waiting to make a meal of them.
I made my first trek to the spot where I am most likely to see them dive for the fish.
Although conditions were not optimal it was still a fun day.
This particular bird flew by so close I could not capture the whole bird but just part of it.
